Amscope vs swift Is the Amscope DSLR adapter any good? I don't really see any other adapters (with optics) around the $100 price point. Be sure to check AmScope's website as they are always running a sale (the nature of the sale just changes from time to time) and have a lot of different microscopes. The first one has semi-plano objectives, while the second one seem to have better mechanics but simple achro objectives. And they have the option to swap out for an actual darkfield condenser too so nice future upgrade possibility. I think it's a pretty good microscope for the money and a nice one for amateur microscopy. i purchased the amscope about 3 months ago and im very, very happy with it. The Swift SW380T is a similar microscope sometimes recommended for beginners in the $300 range, that has LED lighting but no Kohler (doesn't matter as much with LED). They represent a good deal and decent quality at that level. My budget is around 500Euros. Doesn't make much of a difference, though. rmby rxzdoq cyo ascivrd hzmppu ixig yzommn ssq pmjnj slwy yraekzh oty uvwdob tyesdt wnc
